After beating Floor 4, I made a list of all knives, analyzed the sortiment and came to this conclusion:

S-Tier for Early-Mid Game: Heated Knife, Frying Pan, Stitching Tool (until you get the Anvil, Grindstone and Cushion)

S-Tier for Late-Game: Can Opener, Heated Knife, Luber Axe.

I did not change my Setup (2x Can Opener to securely finish fishes, 3x Heated Knife for filleting the fishes fast, 2x Frying Pan which is basically a better Can Opener for fishes without cooking resistance, and 1x Stitching tool) until the end of floor 2, when I searched for Lumber Axes to replace the Frying Pans and the Stitching tool.

The Lumber Axes are mid-tier until late game because they are so unreliable compared to the heating knife,

but later on the heating knife becomes gradually weaker against the armored fishes. (Which is why the Lumber axe as the strongest knife in the game with 3 (+1 via pencil sharpener) piercing and 10-15 damage comes into play.

I don't know where the limit is since the fishes become stronger and stronger (which is not the real problem here - the problem is the cooking resistance part - it makes it impossible to damage the fishes at some point), but it is very managable to defeat restaurants up to level 9. It became too repetitive, so I stopped there.

It's a really nice game and a creative concept, but not really balanced, since most of the knives are just trash and unuseful.

Have fun, I enjoyed it a lot

My Personal Best. (World Record????)

Floor 4, Restaurant 1 (Died at Restaurant 2)

Damn, that's really far. I can barely survive floor 2!

Fun little game you have here!

Thanks for playing!

You're welcome! I've been playing more, still pretty enjoyable. I'm worried that the armor-cooking ability might not always work correctly. It looks like the number goes down but the damage seems to remain as it was before.

Yeah, I noticed this to.

Yeah, I've seen it as well and I don't really know why it happens. I'll look into though.
